I use lens-based media and sound to explore themes of memory, loss, regret and longing. The photograph, the moving-image and sound recordings all declare this has been. When one chooses to put an enameled photograph on a gravestone they are leaving irrefutable proof of their existence; I have been, remember me. In my work I try to revive, reanimate, and return the forgotten and the missed; to make souvenirs and memorials for people and moments.
